The Business Spotlight Visit at Grand Valley State University gives prospective students an in-depth look at pursuing a business degree at GVSU. Hosted at the Seidman College of Business on GVSU's City campus in downtown Grand Rapids, this experience connects students Business staff to learn about opportunities and professional experiences they can expect when they come to GVSU as a Laker.

The visit begins with a 30-minute admissions overview, followed by a focused 30-min presentation on the Seidman College of Business. Students will learn about GVSU’s business majors, career-focused curriculum, experiential learning opportunities, internships, and the many ways Seidman helps students prepare for success in today’s business world.

Guests then participate in a 30-minute tour of the Seidman College of Business highlighting Seidman’s learning spaces, student resources, and the unique opportunities that come with studying business in a thriving urban business community. Students will learn about how GVSU’s downtown location connects the classroom to local businesses, organizations, and professional experiences.

This Spotlight Visit is an excellent opportunity for students to ask questions, connect with faculty, explore the Seidman College of Business, and envision themselves studying and building their future career in downtown Grand Rapids.
