Hello and Welcome to GVSU spotlight visit for Kirkhof College of Nursing

The Spotlight Visit: Nursing at GVSU gives prospective students an in-depth look at pursuing a career in nursing. This visit takes place on GVSU’s Health Campus in downtown Grand Rapids and provides students with a hands-on experience with nursing faculty, facilities, and student support services.

The visit begins with a 30-minute admissions overview, followed by a focused presentation on the Kirkhof College of Nursing, including the Traditional BSN, Accelerated BSN, and graduate nursing programs such as MSN and DNP pathways. Students will learn about clinical experiences, simulation-based learning, licensure preparation, and career outcomes in the nursing field.

Guests then participate in a 45-minute tour of the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences (CHS) and the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health (DCIH), highlighting GVSU’s state-of-the-art simulation labs, hands-on technology, and interprofessional learning spaces that prepare nursing students for real-world healthcare settings.
